On Jun 6, the 3x112m steel truss beams at the south bank of Hutong Railway Yangtze River Bridge have been successfully moved to designed position, symbolizing the coming of full-scale acceleration phase. The bridge is designed and constructed to accommodate both highway and railway, which will be built simultaneously in main bridge and separately in approach bridge. Total length is around 11km.
This bridge project is mainly contracted by China Railway Major Bridge Engineering Group, also known as MBEC. And KATTOR, cooperating with MBEC, offers technical service for the horizontal movement of 3x112m simply supported steel beams, with the application of its Continuous Strand-jack System (CSS).
